Ninety-six percent of respondents also want Israel to be Jewish and democratic state. However, 27 percent believe that those who object to government policy should be tried in court, while 41 percent support stripping them of citizenship.
Just under a third of students who say Israel is not willing to learn in classrooms with one or more students with special needs. This number increased to twice when asked about their attitude when studying in the same class with Arab students. In addition, 23 percent say they do not want gays or lesbians in their class.
The poll also revealed that 40 percent of Jewish youth has never been a part of the youth group, while 45 percent have never volunteered to be involved in any capacity.
