Edward Nino Hernandez is like other 24-year-old Colombian. He loves reggae music and dreamed of owning a car. But the one that makes him different is his height.
With only 70 centimeters tall and weighs approximately 10 kilograms, Nino is considered as the shortest man in the world. Nino officially been declared as the shortest man by the Guinness World Records.
"His height is never increased again since the age of two years," said Nino's mother quoted by the Associated Press, Tuesday (09/07/2010).
Previously, the shortest man in the world title held by China's He Pingping. Pingping four inches taller, but he died on March 13. Guinness had found Nino not long after the death of Pingping.
Nino's title is expected not long. Khagendra Thapa Magar from Nepal is expected to take over his title on 14 October, at 18 year-old. Magar is only 56 centimeters high, and Guinness will record him as the shortest teenager in the world.
