General Motors Recalls 20,000 Cadillac in the U.S.A

General Motors  recalls the 20,000 units Cadillac CTS  in the United States because of the increased risk of injury for the short people who do not use safety belts.

A spokesman Alan Adler said the crash test indicates these vehicles do not meet federal requirements regarding the amount of force that achieved the feet short people without seat belts, sitting in the front passenger seat.

Adler added that the only passengers not wearing safety belts affected by this crash. This withdrawal is not required in other countries because they have laws national safety belt usage. The review by federal safety regulators indicate that about 85 percent of Americans use their safety belts.

The dealers would reduce the excessive risk of injury by replacing the glove compartment or a small drawer near the steering wheel at no cost.
