Beautiful views of the Lunar Eclipse In December 2010

People in some places on Earth can witness a total lunar eclipse earlier this week. The event will last for several hours starting from midnight December 20 until December 21 late night.

Lunar eclipse will be presenting the beautiful scenery when the weather is clear. A number of areas in all parts of the North and South America, as well as in northern and western Europe and in some regions in Northeast Asia, including Korea and Japan will be able to enjoy the beautiful lunar eclipse. Total lunar eclipse can also be seen in the North Island, New Zealand, and Hawaii. So, this event has the potential to be witnessed about 1.5 billion people.

According to the experts, the previous lunar eclipse took place between 20 February to 21 February 2008 and it's seen clearly in many parts of the Americas, Europe, Africa and western Asia.

However, next year, predicted a lunar eclipse occurs twice. First on June 15, 2011, which can be seen in the eastern region of Earth and can last one hour 40 minutes. The second eclipse in the next year will take place on December 10, can be seen in some western regions in North America.
